Neither Poetry Workshop

  • Ceiba Valley Farm ON ZOOM (map)

Join us for a 3-hour, critique-free writing workshop designed to help you explore your creativity, emotions, and inner worlds.

Join us online on Saturday April 25th, 2026 from 5-8PM EST and 2-5PM PST for a 3-hour, critique-free writing workshop designed to help you explore your creativity, emotions, and inner worlds in a supportive, confidential space.

Neither Poetry offers an intentional environment for writers of all levels to engage with storytelling, reflection, and imagination, without pressure to perform or share. Whether you prefer to write quietly, listen, or participate more actively, you are welcome here.

Through personalized writing prompts and immersive ambient sound, we’ll move through exercises that invite vulnerability, play, and curiosity. This space centers QTBIPOC voices while remaining open to anyone ready to write, reflect, and connect.

What to expect:

  • A critique-free space to write freely and explore what feels messy or unresolved

  • Guided writing prompts paired with live ambient sound and music

  • Opportunities to connect with other writers navigating identity, memory, and transformation

  • A return to playful, intuitive, and imaginative writing practices

  • A confidential and supportive environment to hold complexity together

No prior writing experience is necessary. Reading your work aloud is completely optional.

About Neither Poetry
Neither Poetry began in 2023 as a bi-monthly workshop in Oakland, creating intimate space for QTBIPOC writers to explore creativity and vulnerability through sound and prompt-based writing. The project has evolved into a broader platform for storytelling, performance, and sonic experimentation, including Neither FM on Sutro FM.

After a period of rest and mourning, Neither returns in collaboration with Ceiba Valley Farms, continuing its commitment to holding space for what is unresolved, asking questions instead of offering answers, and supporting writers in building new worlds through language.
