Why Ceiba Valley Farm?

Ceiba Valley Farm is pleased to be a local, queer producer of cut flowers, fruits & vegetables in New London County.

Our fields are low-till and hand-cultivated with legacy in mind.

Our produce is chemical-free and purposefully diversified to match the foodways of Southeastern Connecticut. Regarding amendments, inputs, and investments on the farm, we are always thinking Earth-forward, 7 generations ahead of ourselves.

We are a sanctuary space and a community resource for QTBIPOC growers in a region dominated by White farmers.

Purpose

Food is a universal language–growing it as a form of resistance is our ancestral legacy, and our main tool for collective liberation. We envision a metamorphosis of the food system where people are empowered participants of their food system, the soil is thriving, and no-waste practices are abundant.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it.
We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
